Mentorring young and/or
|CONTENT & BENEFITS TO THE PARTICIPANTS / AUDIENCES||Choreographic Labs give students essential tools to explore new ideas using Dance & Theatre. After a session with instructions and participatory exercises, students are then given the freedom and possibility to create their own work. They apply new tools to their own ideas. Interactivity is highly valued during the program.||The mentorring programs are tailored to support an individual in his/her artistic growth. The mentor and the mentee agree on a series of aspects and specific areas where the mentee wants to develop him/herself (choreography, management, etc.) . Each meeting addresses essential questions about the student’s practice and a plan of action which is agreed between both parties.|

|RECOMMENDED MAXIMUM NUMBER OF PARTICIPANTS||The Dance Theatre Training Programs cover a variety of topics and tools in order to empower students as performers and/or as choreographers. Here are a few examples of questions and topics we cover during the training program:|
• What makes a story a good story?
• How to create interesting characters through dance?
• Using spoken words with dance.
• Comedy versus Drama.
• Narrative versus Abstract.
|Scratch Nights are a way to celebrate what has been achieved so far during the Training Programs. Not only can students share with audiences the journey they have been on, but audiences can also discover a little bit more of what is happening behind the scenes. Scratch Nights are great fun and bring communities together. It encourages interactivity, audience participation and it helps artists gain confidence while becoming a stronger voice for their own work.|

Performing Acts: to be discussed depending on the nature of the project. Please note each artist receives a slot to present work and everybody also gets a chance to exchange thoughts with the audience afterwards.

CPD (Continuous Professional Development) for Dance Teachers
|CONTENT & BENEFITS TO THE PARTICIPANTS / AUDIENCES||This course is aimed at both artists who are just starting out as teachers and at experienced dance teachers.
Those who are at the early stages of their carreers will be able to lead mock classes and receive feedback on their teaching skills. The course will include a variety of useful exercices including warm up games, choreography and cool downs. The participants will also learn how to make lesson plans and how to deal with challenges occuring within the studio.
Experienced teachers will love this course for its ressourful content. This course aims to give teachers a new source of inspiration to add new dynamics to their classes. New teaching methodologies will be explored to give experienced dance teachers new tools to refresh their current practices.
