The Dancehall LAB

The Dancehall LAB will be very different from my usual Dancehall classes on TUE & WED.

The Thursday class will be about exploring freestyle techniques, telling stories through Dancehall, exploring choreographic concepts, and there will be loads of collabo classes too!!!  It will be a true opportunity for Dancehall lovers not only to work on their Dancehall skills, but also discover the broad scope of things we can create with Dancehall.  All sessions will have as aim to give various experiences to the students.  Some classes will focus on performance skills, others on gainng confidence when freestyling.  Collabo classes will allow Dancehall to grow and connect with various dance techniques and communities, students will have the opportunity to expand by working with a large number of teachers.

Afro-Beats Fusion

No need to introduce you to these two amazing female dancers/choreographers: Girlz on Point, G.O.P. Dancers, a powerful duet founded by Patience and Fumy.

They both trained a WAC Arts, but are mostly known for their numereous features in Azonto and Afro-Beats music videos.

They will introduce you to modern African dances such as N’Dombolo, Azonto, Kuduro, and Alkayda, and will also touch on Hiphop and Afro-House.  Their fusion class will be a beautiful and energetic mix of what inspires them and what they trained in over the years.
